DEER RUN RESIDENCE
Deer Run Residence is a mountain modern home designed for a wooded site outside of Black Mountain, NC. The upper volume, housing the private wing of the house, is rotated at 90 degrees to the main level volume, which has the public portion of the house program. The careful positioning of the windows takes full advantage of the long distance mountain views as well as the close up views of the forest surrounding the house.
